HP Pavilion at San Jose is an impressive NHL venue with a solid fan base of diehard followers dedicated to the great game of professional ice hockey. The sheer magnitude and awe-inspiring atmosphere that is evident anytime you watch a San Jose Sharks game is palpable, and you definitely don't want to miss an opportunity to visit this NHL arena located on W. Santa Clara Street.

There are several ways to get to the arena, and the main highways that run right next to HP Pavilion at San Jose provide an easy way to enter and exit the facility without much hassle or wasted time in local traffic. I-280 and I-680 are both good highways to use to travel to HP Pavilion, and you’ll want to be absolutely sure to follow the signage from the highway that will guide you directly to the arena. Public transportation also is readily available, as the Caltrain can take commuters both north or south from Diridon Station, which is located right by the building itself. Additionally, the Valley Transit Authority can also provide another option when deciding how you will make your way to the arena on game night.

HP Pavilion at San Jose has one of the nicer exteriors of any arena in the NHL, providing an opportunity to acquire a deep appreciation of all of the fine engineering and construction that was undertaken to make HP Pavilion so special. There are several outside restaurant options as well if you’re looking for a good meal in the San Jose area. One of the best restaurants to visit during your trip to San Jose is Amici's East Coast Pizzeria. Serving both pizza and old-fashioned Italian food, Amici's is the perfect place to kick off your San Jose Sharks pregame celebration. With quality menu offerings and unbelievable prices, Amici's stands out as one of the better dinner options in the San Jose area. O'Flaherty's is another prime location to visit if you are looking for the perfect way to unwind with a good meal and a tasty adult beverage. This pub-style location offers many different American classics, and there are televisions and music throughout the establishment, which keeps the diverse crowd entertained.

The Blank Club is one of those cool nightspots that only heats up as the hours pass by. With some of the world's best DJs and great live music, the party never stops at The Blank Club. This nightclub is located in the heart of San Jose on S. Almaden Ave., which provides an excellent setting for a night of drinking and clubbing. Another great bar/restaurant/ lounge combination is Agenda, which is one of the trendier nightclubs in the area. It’s an exceptional spot to unwind in after a San Jose Sharks victory.
