Since 1983, Scotiabank Saddledome has been the home of the Calgary Flames. Though it has been called many different names in its 27-year history, Scotiabank Saddledome remains one of the premier sporting venues in North America. As the Calgary Flames continue to grow and mature as an organization, Scotiabank Saddledome serves to make sure that every fan has a positive experience. With a capacity just over 19,000 people, this is one place you don't want to miss on your Frozen Pond Pilgrimage.

Located in downtown Calgary, Scotiabank Saddledome is a very easy venue to reach by any kind of transportation. The arena itself is on the Light Rail Transit system, which makes travel very easy if you choose to use one of the many buses running through the city. If you decide to bring your own vehicle, you are invited to park at the neighboring Stampede Park, which features cheap parking spots and a close proximity to Scotiabank Saddledome.

The building itself will amaze you with its beauty and elegance. Multiple concourses make it very easy to navigate your way through the building without having to worry about the bumping into people all around you. There is an Air Canada Club that serves as the ground-floor concourse, which makes any experience that much more attractive. There are also many different exhibits throughout the arena that really do a nice job of catching your attention and allowing you to take a look inside one of the greatest hockey franchises the NHL has ever known, the Calgary Flames.

If you are hungry before the game begins, there is always the traditional ballpark food that is readily available at one of the many concession throughout the arena.
